Insecure Season 3 is upon us and the girls are excited for the return of our favorite girlfriends. Insecure is a show we hold near and dear to our hearts seeing as how Issa has done one hell of a job evolving the view of black women on T.V. Not only is Insecure essential for that reason, the show has also taught us many lessons about life, love & relationships.
1. Girlfriends are key to our sanity and 'insanity' in that case.
2. Molly's parents taught us every relationship has a story to tell, even the perfect ones.
3. Therapy is okay..... When you need it.
4. When dating, go with the flow.
5. & Last but most importantly, don't sell yourself short. Move on when it's time to move on.
Grab your girlfriends, wine and popcorn and prepare for the return of Insecure. Season 3 premiers this Sunday, Aug. 12, and is sure to not disappoint us with more life lessons, (wo)man in the mirror moments and cringeworthy details.
